π¨π¦ Obtaining a Work Permit for Canada as a Francophone
The Francophone Mobility Program allows French-speaking workers to come work in Canada outside Quebec without the employer needing to obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
π― Requirements for Candidates
To be eligible, you must:
π£οΈ Speak French at NCLC level 5 or higher (equivalent to intermediate B1).
π Have a valid job offer from an employer located outside Quebec.
πΌ Work in a skilled occupation (all TEER categories are eligible, except certain agricultural jobs).

Canadian employers can hire a Francophone worker if they:
Have a job offer outside Quebec
Submit this offer through IRCCβs Employer Portal under exemption code C16
Pay the compliance fees and follow provincial employment standards
